About Leh We Talk
Leh We Talk is a pioneering initiative in Sierra Leone, designed to empower people to openly discuss mental health and wellbeing. Our name, "Leh We Talk" (meaning "Let Us Talk" in English), reflects the heart of our mission—fostering meaningful, stigma-free conversations around mental health. Through this culturally resonant approach, we aim to create a supportive space where people can express their experiences, learn about mental health, and develop skills to navigate the challenges they face.
We believe that every person has the strength to overcome adversity, define their own path, and positively influence their community.
Our Mission
At Leh We Talk, our mission is to destigmatise mental health and wellbeing conversations in Sierra Leone to empower and educate.
Our Vision
We envision a Sierra Leone where mental health and wellbeing are openly discussed without stigma, and where people are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to lead fulfilling lives.
